Nzema
Home to Ghana’s founding father, Osagyefo Dr.Kwame Nkrumah and also one of the most popular tourist destinations in Ghana. Nzema is home to the Nzema speaking people which is a subset of the Akan group. The most popular tourist attraction here is the Nzulezo village as know as the stilt village on water.
Although Nzema is not a location, but a sub-group of the Akan people located mainly on western-most coastal region of the country, there are several tourist and historic sites located within several Nzema communities. A few but important ones include the famouse Nzulezu village on water, Ankasa forest, fort orange etc.
